The New South Wales based stallion He’s Watching sired winners in four different countries in the past fortnight!

Heading the vanguard was the brilliant three-year-old colt Tattoo Artist, who led from end to end in 1:49.4 in an $84,506 division of the Simcoe Stakes at Woodbine Mohawk Park on Saturday (September 5).

Runner-up in the $1 million North America Cup, Tattoo Artist boasts a lifetime scorecard of 11 wins from 17 starts for $694,478 in stakes.

On the home front, Experia, He’s Watching led in two ‘new’ two-year-old winners in He’s Dan, a winner in 1:59.1 at Kilmore with a final half in 56.1 and quarter in 27, and Ulaanbaatar (1:59.7, Bathurst), while Experia, a New Zealand-bred three-year-old by He’s Watching won for the second time at Menangle, rating 1:57.1 over 2300 metres with the closing 800 in 56.7.

To complete a big fortnight, Im Watching You, a four-year-old gelding, came from third last on the home turn to snatch a thrilling last-stride win at Invercargill.

He’s Watching can boast the enviable record of having sired 18 individual winners from 57 foals in his first Australian crop – a 32 percent strike rate.

A dual world champion and million dollar winner, He’s Watching is now standing at the Tipperary Equine stud, Young (NSW), of Luke Primmer.
