Today's Prix de Bourgogne undercard featured several excellent monte events. The Prix de Brioude for 60,000 euro over 2700 meters went to Linda Vercruysse' Transamerica (6f Offshore Dream-Klassic Aunou-Defi d'Aunou) in a front-stepping 1.14.1kr for Yohan Lebourgeois.

The winner scored her fifth career win, now with earnings of 196,820 euro for her NY born owner and trained by Pierre Vercruysse. She sports red-white-blue colors that also fit Transamerica's pedigree, being by the double Prix d'Amerique winner Offshore Dream with earning of over US$3.3 million (2002, Reve d'Udon-Enfilde-Tarass Boulba). Tarass Boulba is by Speedy Somolli and Enfilade's dam, Tableau (Joie de Vie-Seascape Lobell-Speedy Crown-Somolli) directs to Somolli.

Transamerica's pedigree further reflects franco-american blending as her dam was sired by Defi D'Aunou, by Armbro Goal from Nesmile, making him a half-brother to Buvetier d'Aunou (by Royal Prestige) and Extreme Aunou (by Baltic Speed). Nesmile is one of Europe's best producing mares and her daughter Amour d'Aunou produced Guilty of Love, dam of Love You, Repeat Love, Nice Love and In Dix Huit.
