Mach To The Max (Mach Three) completed his sweep of the J.P. Morel Memorial Pacing Series on Sunday afternoon at Saratoga Casino and Raceway.

Mach To The Max made his local debut in April and despite being a beaten favorite in his first two Saratoga starts entered the Pacing Series as the one to beat. The Jackie Rousse-trained three year old held on to prevail in the first leg of the Series and jogged in leg two to the tune of a three and a half length win.

The 1-9 betting favorite in Sunday's $18,100 Final, Mach To The Max marched out to the early lead and never faced a challenge until pocket sitting Regalwood took a crack at him in the stretch. Under just mild urging from driver Billy Dobson, Mach To The Max prevailed by a length, stopping the timer in a career best 1:55. Regalwood (Jim Devaux) finished second while Pan Of Outsiders (Wally Hennessey) earned the show spot.
