October 30, 2016 – Harness racing Sunday in Europe often moves to more rural sites.
This day was no exception in FR as action took place at Cordemais (a community in western FR Loire-Atlantique with population of about 2,760).
The fine racing program included the monte Prix de Nort-Sur-Erdre (purse €25,000, 2825 meters, 17 European starters) that resulted in a 1.14.6kr victory for Vic du Bossis (7g Chef du Chatelet-Pretty du Bossis. Antoine Dabouis rode the Olivier Raffin trainee owned by Ecurie du Bossis.
The Prix du Pont de Cordemais (purse €28,000, 2850 meters, 18 starters, Pick5 wagering) went to 1.13.9kr timed and 12.3/1 Tema de Bassiere (9f Hulk des Champs-Kelly de Corday) racing barefoot for Francois Lecanu, trainer Patrice Dessartre and owner Jean Pierre Gallou.
