Lord Terror heads feature race Sunday

DOVER, Del. ---- Lord Terror and Coastal Storm bring impressive victories last week into the $20,000 Male Claiming Allowance pace, Sunday, Jan. 19 at Dover Downs.

Bill Emmons' Lord Terror raced must of his last start on the outside before taking the lead on the far turn and pulled off for a convincing 1:51.4 victory in his first start of the New Year. Vic Kirby drove the winner to his third win of the meet. Corey Callahan guided Archie Peel's Coastal Storm home for win number 2 of the meet in his last four starts. He steps up a notch in claiming price and will leave from post 1. Nicole Ratledge and Crissman Inc.'s Bad Rusty, driven by Tony Morgan, finished second last outing beaten only a nose after being second losing by a head the week before.

A popular winner during the last two season, Volo, now owned by Brian Best and driven by Trace Tetrick, leads the opposition. Other contestants are Bettor's Arena, driven by Ross Wolfenden for David Banks, Mike and Ed Reppucci, also in top form; Greg Simendinger and trainer Eli Scott's Its Outta Here will have the services of Ron Pierce; Raritan Bay, owned by Betty Brittingham and driven by Bret Brittingham and Grant Wilfong and Legacy Racing's Major Flight and Allan Davis from outside post 8.
