DOVER, Del. ---- The only three-year-old in the field, Bestofthebunch, is the one to beat in the Delaware $9,500 3,4&5-Year-Old Male pace on Sunday, March 9 at Dover Downs.
After his first three starts, Bestofthebunch has won twice with a second when beaten by a neck. The gelding owned by Foulk Stables and trained by Trish Foulk, withdriving, takes on eight rivals in the feature race. Chief opposition is expected from 's White Sportscoat, a strong second-place finisher last time out with driving, trainer Lauren Allen's Public Enemy, a winner last time out handled by Vic Kirby, and 's Maximum Terror and Jr., primed for a top effort.
The rest of the field is made up byowned, trained and driven Casino Bags from the rail with Heather Minton's Cherokee Hunter piloted by alongside. Drawing outside posts are Darrell and Dillon Lewis' TR Sam and , Shrew Magoo with driving for Rich Zulick and Crissman Inc., posts 7 and 8 with driver 's JR's Midnight Cry leaving from post 9 in the second tier.
Sunday post time is 5:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; post time is 4:30 p.m. Each Friday and Saturday, the track will be dark for racing. On Sunday, races begin at 5:30 p.m.
