Third was another shoeless contestant, 119.4/1 Olimpus Caf (9m Varenne-Evoila’Caf) reined by Franck Ouvrie for Italy’s Ecurie Montaro and conditioned by J-Et LeBec.
Cheltenham (5m Baccarat du Pont-Quickly Victory) took the Paris-Vincennes evening card’s Prix Aemila (purse €50,000, 2100 meters autostart, 11 starters) timed in 1.12.3kr for David Thomain. The barefoot 2/1 odds speedster is trained by Thierry Duvaldestin for Ecurie Augustin-Normand. 6.2/1 Ce Bello Romain (5g Jam Pridem-Miss Echo Bella) was second for Mathieu Mottier and owner/trainer S-G Dupont. Third was 22/1 Caviar du Vivier (5m Kiwi-Kea du Vivier) for driver Franck Ouvrie and trainer St, Meunier.
