Three-year-old Sambrosie Lass made a clean sweep of the Decron Horse Care Series and completed a hat trick at Cranbourne tonight (August 5). The Rod Dyer trained filly had earlier won a heat at Cranbourne and another race at Kilmore. She has now won three races in 16 days!

Starting from inside the back row, the $2.10 favourite settled in third position following Meet The President and Good Living.

Sent forward three-wide by Scott Dyer at the 1600 metres quickly rolled to the front. The race then became a procession.

Maintaining solid fractions of 31.3, 31.8, 30.1 and 30.3, the Armbro Operative filly was untroubled to run out a three metre winner over Stickemup, who sat parked most of the way.

Bred and raced by Ekizabeth MacLean, Sambrosie Lass averaged a tidy 2:02 rate for the 2080 metres trip.
