'Newly formed Canterbury Bankstown Junior Rugby League Football Club, the Bass Hill Broncos, will host a sports clinic for kids from across Sydney at Sydney's Bankstown Paceway, on Friday, May 31st, 2013, as part of the 29th Schweppes Sydney Cup Carnival of Harness Racing,' Bankstown Paceway director Megan Lavender has announced.
‘Last Friday, May 24th – and broadcast live in New South Wales and Queensland on the Nine Network – the Bass Hill Broncos under nines team successfully formed the guard of honour as the Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs and Brisbane Broncos teams entered Sydney’s ANZ Stadium,’ Ms Lavender told Harnesslink.
‘This Friday, May 31st, the Bass Hill Broncos will join trots fans and harness race going families by hosting a children’s sports clinic with tackling bags, a ball passing frame and a variety of rugby league drills,’ Ms Lavender said.
‘All kids at Bankstown Trots on Friday night can also pick up a free showbag with Bass Hill Broncos merchandise simply by visiting their stand at the racecourse,’ she said.
‘Friday night footy is as much a Sydney tradition as Friday night trots – and Bankstown Paceway is delighted to welcome the Bass Hill Broncos and all Rugby League fans and their families this Friday night, May 31st,’ Ms Lavender added.
