T Red paced home for his 50th career victory on Sunday (August 18) in Raceway Park’s eleventh race. The eight year-old has 204 career starts, winning 50 times, and finishing second and third 34 and 32 times respectively. T Red (Cams Eclipse-Al’s Honey-Armbro Aussie) has earnings of $249,640 and a lifetime mark of 1:51.1 at Indiana Downs at age five. The pacer has won on 10 different racing surfaces and his richest win was for a purse of $11,880 in a conditioned race at Windsor Raceway in 2011.
T Red started from post seven and virtually made every pole a winning one, posting fractions of :27.1, :56, 1:25.1 and 1:55.1. He finished 4 ½-legths in front of his closest competitor, Art’s Boy (Robert Dinning), and returned $3.80 to win.
Henry Gulley of Cement City, Michigan owns and trains T Red. Gulley called upon Dan Noble to steer his gelding to this milestone triumph. T Red was one of four winners on the night for Noble.
