Porthos Amok was second for Bjorn Goop (trained by Stefan Melander) ahead of another Melander trainee, Tidied Accelerator handled by Ulf Ohlsson. The winning six year-old gelded son of Kool du Caux-Monrovia-Rite On Line took his 13th victory in 58 tries, increasing career earnings to over 5.8SEK million.

The Silver Division, over 1640 meters autostart, went to the US bred Magiccarpetride and Jorma Kontio timed in 1.10.9kr. Another US-bred, Mr. Chicago, was second for Carl-Erik Lindblom. The winner earned 125,000SEK and the eight year-old son of Angus Hall-Meadowbranch Magic-Valley Victory now has 13 wins and earnings in excess of 1.6SEK million.

The Bronze Division, for 110,000SEK to the winner, contested over 2140 meters autostart, resulted in a 1.11.8kr win for Jeppas Maxi and Torbjorn Jansson. He narrowly defeated Riff Kronos and Viejo Heiskanen with Pedro Bi a distant third. Jeppas Maxi is a five year-old gelded son of Varenne-Absolutely Perfect-Balanced Image that now has nine wins in 11 starts lifetime. This one looks to have a fine future.
