WASHINGTON, PA, July 10, 2019 -- Parked three wide through a grueling 27.1 opening quarter, Tee's Sweet Ryde nevertheless was much the best as she jogged to a 1:53.4 harness racing victory in Wednesday's feature -- an $11,800 Filly & Mare Conditioned Pace -- at The Meadows.

Making her first start at The Meadows following her recent purchase by Burke Racing Stable and Weaver Bruscemi LLC, Tee's Sweet Ryde easily withstood the first-over challenge of Sewonandsewforth, defeating her by 3 lengths. McCheetah finished third. Dave Palone piloted the 3-year-old daughter of Sweet Lou-Ryder Blue Chip, who had been campaigning at Hoosier Park, for trainer Ron Burke.

Tony Hall collected four wins and Aaron Merriman three on the 13-race card.

Live racing at The Meadows resumes Saturday, when the program features a pair of carryovers -- $916.43 in the Pick 5 (races 2-6), $2,345.80 in the final-race Super Hi-5. First post is 1:05 PM.
