WASHINGTON, PA, Nov. 16, 2020– Tequila Party followed cover into the final turn, then poured it on through the lane to pull off a 7-1 mild harness racing upset in Monday's feature at The Meadows, a $10,400 Filly & Mare Conditioned Pace.
Tequila Party picked up the live cover of Amelia's Courage A before Chris Shaw sent her wide for the drive.
The 4-year-old daughter of Somebeachsomewhere-Tea Party Princess held off Hedges Avenue A by 1/2 length in 1:53.1 while Amelia's Courage A saved show.
Paul Corey trains Tequila Party for Kenneth Ashba and Shawnie Corey.
Tony Hall and Dave Palone each piloted three winners on the 13-race card.
