Charlottetown, PE – The Big Bite, under the command of Kenny Arsenault, came flying through the stretch to win the Thursday night harness racing feature at Red Shores Racetrack & Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park. The time of the mile was 2:00.1
It was the second victory in a row for the Thane Arsenault trainee to mark his 29th lifetime score for owners Jack Arsenault, Donna McIver, Edward Blaisdell and Deborah Wilson. Simon Said (Corey MacPherson) and Give Em Heck (Brian MacPhee) completed the triactor. The 5-6-4 combination returned $184.90. Kenny Arsenault, who was celebrating his birthday, is now only 14 away from career win 3000.
Drivers Ken Murphy, Marc Campbell and Gary Chappell recorded driving doubles while trainer Earl Watts had two winners in victory lane.
