Name the first A Rocknroll Dance foal born at Diamond Creek Farm and win $10,000 in yearling credits! Diamond Creek’s first A Rocknroll Dance foal, a filly out of Whetstone Hanover, arrived amid excitement and anticipation on Wednesday. She’s nameless, and soon to be famous.

Contestants can submit their name suggestions from now until March 14th. Adam Bowden, Owner of Diamond Creek Farm, will choose his 3 favorite names, and on Monday, March 16th, voting will open. All are welcome to submit their suggestions, and all will be welcome to vote on their favorite. The name with the most votes on March 20th at 5pm wins!

“We’re hoping to put a spotlight on A Rocknroll Dance and his potential as a stallion, but I’m really looking forward to meeting the winner and seeing their excitement at having an extra $10 grand to spend at the sale,” says Bowden.

To enter, go to www.diamondcreekfarm.com/contest and type in your suggestion. You can also submit your name by commenting or messaging Diamond Creek on Facebook, DiamondCreekFarmLLC, or Twitter, @DiamondCreekKY, but contestants are cautioned: leave your contact info in case you win!

Rules:

  • All names must be submitted by 11:59pm on March 14th, and voting closes at 5pm on March 20th.
  • Names must be USTA eligible, 18 characters or less, and not currently in use. You can check if your name is taken at http://pathway.ustrotting.com/search/.
  • Multiple submissions of the same name will be credited to the first person to submit the name. Diamond Creek will try to let contestants know if their name was already submitted, but cannot guarantee all duplicates will be caught. The best thing to do is submit more than one name, and submit early!
