The fourth session of the six-day Harrisburg Annual Sale is been staged at Harrisburg's Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex Sales Arena today (Thursday November 10). And of course North America's number one harness racing sale can again be viewed live here at Harnesslink.

Over 2,000 horses ranging from yearlings and weanlings to racehorses and broodmares, stallions and stallion shares are going under the hammer.

The sales topper by mid-afternoon was Hip #990, Treasury, an Ontario-sired son of Majestic Son by Cash Cow-Muscles Yankee, selling for $110,000 for Mark Steacy of Ontario.

The colt is the first foal of Cash Cow 4,1:55.2, stakes placed in the Merrie Annabelle and New Jersey Sire Stakes. The colt was consigned by Hunterton Farm for Steve Stewart and Diana Guiliano.

Steacy liked the family connections.

"I had his father and I have quite a few 2-year-olds by him that I like," he said. "This mare has a little more pedigree than some of them and I really liked his video."

The Sale finishes on Saturday November 12. Harnesslink will cover every minute of everyday.
