The stallion Major In Art strikes at Bathurst

What a night for harness racing first crop sire Major In Art at Bathurst on Wednesday. He sired the winners of both finals of the Gold Crown Yearling Sale Graduate series in Lagoon Stride (colt) and Goodtime Stride (filly). Both are out of Fake Left mares and were bred by Wayne and Anne Lamb and owned by Emilio and Maria Rosati.

Major In Art possessed exceptional 2yo ability taking out the Woodrow Wilson very early in the season before going on to win the the World's richest 2yo race - the $1 million Metro Pace.

It was these two performances that earned him the USTA 2yo of the Year award.
