So Long My Love paced to her third consecutive victory, capturing the $12,000 Fillies and Mares Open Pace on Thursday (May 8) in Northfield Park's eleventh race. She is owned and trained by Scott Cox of Streetsboro, Ohio. Ryan Stahl was aboard for the winning drive.

So Long My Love (American Ideal-Letmedowneasy-Camluck) started from post six. She flashed moderate speed off the gate but found that no hole was available and was parked the entire mile, through fractions of :27.3, :56.3 and 1:25.3. She cleared to the lead in the final quarter and bested her competition by 1 ¼-lengths, posting a final time of 1:54.4. Completing the race were Power Everywhere, Wygant Belle, Blows Me Away, Cams Van Go, Tame The Dame, It Must Be Magic and Deliciouslynaughty.

Thursday's win was the sixth victory this year, and tenth career score for So Long My Love and it bolstered her lifetime earnings to $60,253. She returned $13.40 to win.
