Art Bettor Now (Bettor's Delight) made perfect use of a pocket ride on Thursday night at Saratoga Casino and Raceway.

The Margaret Spagnola-trained four-year-old followed rival Good Win Earl (Billy Dobson) every step of the way before pouncing on him in the stretch to record a lifetime best victory in the evening's $6,000 featured race at the Spa.

Art Bettor Now, who was driven by Bruce Aldrich Jr, was dismissed at odds of 8-1 for his pocket sitting score which came in a career best 1:54.4. Good Win Earl held second while Tijuana Party (Stephane Bouchard) closed for the third in the optional $15,000 conditional-claimer.

Live racing continues on Friday night at Saratoga with a first post time of 6:45pm.
