Nono Lindy (Crazed) scored a first over win in Thursday's co-feature at Saratoga. Harness racing driver Frank Coppola Jr. piloted the three year old gelding in the $9,300 co-feature for New York Sired trotters.
Nono Lindy had a strong freshman campaign in 2015 hitting the board in eight of nine starts while prevailing three times.
It was the Tony Mondi-trained trotter's second start of the year on Thursday and Coppola pulled the 5-1 shot first over before cruising to victory in 1:58.3.
The other $9,300 trot went to Dions Prayer (Phil Fluet) who went coast to coast in 1:58.
Dions Prayer is trained by Andy Byler.
Live racing continues on Friday evening with a 6:45pm first post.
