Christian Cullen has rewritten the history books in the breeding barn again last season siring a staggering 17 group and
listed winners he has been five time New Zealand’s leading sire. His brother Julius Caesar is beginning to stamp himself as a leading sire so much so that Global Stallion Management has raised his fee this season, but South Australian Breeders now have the chance to tap into these incredible bloodlines with their full brother Tiger Woods.

Tiger Woods, was only lightly raced, he was a Addington winner as a 3yo and placed twice from only four race starts,
and  is undoubtedly one of the best bred horses to ever come to South Australia. He is by the breed shaper In The Pocket
1:49.6,  the sire of winners of $46 million including champions Christian Cullen, Tupelo Rose, Courage Under Fire,
Under Cover Lover and Julius CaesarIn The Pocket by Direct Scooter a sire line that has become one of the most sort after sire lines in world breeding mainly due to his son Matt Scooter.  Down under Direct Scooter line stallions include:- Mach Three, Royal Mattjesty, Ok Bye, Stonebridge Scooter, Deal Direct and Direct Flight along with the In The Pocket dynasty lead by Christian Cullen (and now his CC’s sons are sort after at stud both in Australia and across the ditch)  and Courage Under Fire

Tiger Woods as mentioned is a full brother to siring sensation Christian Cullen and Julius Caesar but allows breeders access to the champions bloodlines for a fraction of his service fee.  Tiger Woods fee for 2013 is just $1000.

Tiger Woods' dam, Pleasant Franco 1:59.3, the dam of 4 winners, 3 in 2:00 and progeny earnings of $1.95 million including Christian Cullen 1:54.1 ($1,206,900), Kate's First 1:57.2 ($624,023) and Oscar De La Hoya 1:59.3. Pleasant Franco is one of very few mares to ever have 3 sons at stud at the same time.

Tiger Woods commenced he stud career in Tasmania where he sired good winners such as fast class performer Winjammer then was moved to Queensland where he stood at Egmont Park before it closed while in Queensland  he served the mother of Slipnslide to produce Tigers Pocket who has won twice and been placed on several other occasion’s.

Tiger Woods will stand his third season for Jarrad Harrison at his Skyline Stud at Quorn, some three hours from Globe
Derby.

Harrison purchased Tiger Woods mainly to serve his own mares but has happily made the sensational bred stallion to outside mares most have those mares have come from the catchment area near Flinders Ranges like Whyalla, Port
Pirie Harrison explained. The son of In The Pocket is the first standardbred stallion Harrison has stood on his 20 acre property known as Skyline Stud “ We usually have mares here till they scan positive at 42 days then send them home” Harrison said.  “I only serve naturally as we are not set up to collect semen” he added.

His oldest progeny bred in SA have just turned yearlings and Harrison is thrilled with the type Tiger Woods throws “They
are big strong types” he said  Harrison has Tiger Woods in the  SAMOS ( South Australian Mares Owners Scheme) which
has opened the door to attract  mares to breeding barn and while some of the big studs benefit from SAMOS it also helps
smaller local studs attract mares to their stallions.
