Tim Tetrick - won four Grand Circuit races last week at the Meadowlands.

Tim Tetrick, who drove five winners at Dover Downs last Jan. 1, completed the 12 month long campaign with another five-bagger on Dec. 31, also at the Delaware capital city raceway.

During the period in between Tetrick won an average of 3.5 races at a number of tracks from New York to the Midwest, completing the season with an all-time record 1,188 winning drives and more than $18.2 million in purses won by horses he has driven during the year. He also boasted a UDRS, similar to a batting average of nearly .390 for the campaign.

A few days past his 26th birthday, Tetrick became harness racing's all-time one season dash win champion driving his 1,079th victory on Nov. 27 at Dover Downs. The winning horse was Martin Scharf's Stonebridge Kisses winner of the $26,000 Filly and Mare Open pace feature.

Tetrick had equaled the previous record of 1,078 set a decade before, by Walter Case during the 1998 season

In addition to being one of the leading drivers at Dover Downs, Tetrick, raced at 18 racetracks in all during the year. He was also the leading driver at Chester Downs and Pocono Downs.

Heading an impressive list of stakes winning events, Tetrick became the first driver to win two $1-million races in one year.

He drove Southwind Lynx to victories in the Meadowlands Pace in New Jersey and the Art Rooney Memorial at Yonkers Raceway, in New York.

He also steered Danee to victory in the $750,000 Hambletonian Oaks at the Meadowlands and drove the outstanding three-year-old filly Southwind Tempo to a host of major stakes

Tetrick will drive on Jan. 1, 2008 at Dover Downs, where he will race several days a week, and then race in late week at the Meadowlands.

During the Summer, he plans to continue to race at Chester and Pocono Downs, as well as in other prestigious races at other tracks in North America.
