Sir Ziggy's Z Tam ($29,60) was fifth after the three-quarters. Owned by Tessa Roland and trained by J D Perrin, he squeezed through a small opening at the pylons to sneak by and get the win in 1:51.3. Seel The Deal N held on for second money, Dreams Beachboy (Gates Bruntet finished third best.
Sir Ziggy's Z Tam is a 10 year-old gelding by Art Major. It was his ninth win in 12 starts this season. It was his 36th career victory. Simons won two more on the day. His other wins came with City Hall ($3.40) and You Said It ($2.60).
Time Out I'm Tired (Aaron Byron) captured the Open Pace II ($10,000).
Time Out I'm Tired ($20.20) went gate-to-wire (:26.4, :55.4, 1:23.2 1:51.3). Trained by Joe Skowyra for owners William Mears and Janine McIlvane, he gutted out a great stretch drive with second place finisher Pretty Boy Swag (Mike Merton). Finishing third was Spirit Shadow (Fen Paquet Jr.).
Time Out I'm Tired is a 6-year-old horse by Artiscape. It was his third win this season and career victory number 17.
