II Prix Abel Bassigny (purse €120,000, 2175 meters, 10 three year old starters) clocked in 1.13.3kr (fractions 1.10.9kr at 1500 meters to go; 1.12.6kr at the 1000; 1.14.4kr at 500), closing stoutly for driver Franck Nivard, trainer Thierry Duvaldestin and owner Richard Cohen.
The even-money favorite defeated Coquin Bebe (3m Ranhco Gede-Noble Nenette) at 2.4/1 handled by J-M Bazire for trainer Franck Leblanc. 15/1 Cahal de Rioults (3m Password-Plesse des Rioults) was third for trainer Philippe Allaire and reinsman Joseph Verbeeck ahead of Cobra Bleu (3m Fortuna Fant-Nuit Irisee) for trainer/driver Pierre Vercruysse at 9/1. Clever Lymm (3m Korean-Oquidia) was next for Roberto Andreghetti, trainer Fabrice Souloy and Ecurie le Tremont.
This group represents a leading contingent of FR-bred three year-old colts at this time.
The Gr. II Prix Reine du Corta (purse €120,000, 2175 meters, 13 three year-old filly starters) was also the Pick5 event and 17.9/1 Combattante (3f Sam Bourbon-New York) took the victory rallying late for Pierre Vercruysse and owner/trainer Louis Baudron.

Monte leaders battled in the Prix Orly Roederer (purse €120,000, 2850 meters, seven European four year-old participants) and even-money favorite Best Of Jets (4m Magnificent Rodney-Plume Jets) was the easy start to finish winner for jockey Francois Lagadeuc for owner/trainer Jean-Michel Baudouin.
1.6/1 second choice Beau Gamin (4m Quinoa de Gers-Cadette) was second for Eric Raffin and trainer Sebastien Guarato with 12/1 Be Mine de Houelle (4f Scipion du Goutier-Olita de Kefruso) third for Franck Nivard and trainer Franck Nivard.

Aged performers battled in the Gr. III Prix du Languedoc (purse €95,000, 2700 meters, 10 starters age six and up) with 2.8/1 Moving On (6f Quite Easy-Kings Blondie) the rallying winner for Franck Nivard, trainer Fabrice Souloy and Ecurie IC Equine AB.
The 1.13.9kr clocked winner defeated El Mago Pellini (6m Chocolatier-Mr Intuition) and Joseph Verbeeck, driving for trainer Lutfi Kolgjini at 8.7/1. Shadow d’Odyssee (9g Urfist des Pres-Battante d’Odyssee) was third at 11/1 driven by Eric Raffin and trainer Pierre Belloche, finishing ahead of Prince di Poggio (6m Varenne-Moon Shadow) and teamster Mathieu Abrivard for trainer Vincent Lacroix. Quick Fix, Reine Helene and Spain’s Trebol were next across the line.

Eric Raffin piloted this three year-old son of Password-Savane Griff to victory for trainer Sebastien Guarato and Ecurie Griff. Caviar du Vivier was second for trainer/driver Stephane Meinier and third was Cruziki du Rib with Joel Hallais teaming.
