Pukekohe harness racing trainer Steven Reid says Gold Ace is one of the best 3-year-old pacers he has conditioned and because of that he knows the gifted colt is good enough to take on Australia's best.

With the Group One Sires Stakes Final (last month) and now the Group Two $50,000 Alabar Elsu Classic (last Friday December 17) listed on his CV, the son of Bettor's Delight will now cross the Tasman to take on Australia's best in the Group One $200,000 Alabar 3yo Victoria Derby at Melton's Tabcorp Park on February 5. That's the plan according Reid.

Watch what Gold Ace's trainer, driver and owner had to say about the hugely 3-year-old.
