Treskool du Caux captured the Grand National du Trot Final and Vision Intense scored in the monte Prix Philippe du Rozier to headline today's excellent winter meet card at Hippodrome Paris-Vincennes, before a large and enthusiastic crowd. The card also included Inter-Regional championship events.

Treskool du Caux (6m Kool du Caux-Intevista-Off Guy) won the featured Prix Maurice de Folleville (GNT Final, Gr. II, 150,000 euro purse, 2850 meters). Off at 5/2 odds the Franck Nivard teamed, Fabrice Souloy trained, Jacques Villetorte owned winner recorded his eighth career win and increased his career earnings to 642,250 euro as he held off a group of challengers down the long Vincennes stretch. Ton Reve de Cahot (6g Hand du Vivier) was second for David Thomain and Septour (7g Love You) garnered the third spot for Julien Dubois. Series points leader Swedishman made a miscue around the final band and was disqualified.

The Prix Philippe du Rozier Gr II monte event (2175 meters, 120,000 euro purse) produced an expected win by even-money favorite Vision Intense (4f Prodigious-Intense Action-Cezio Josselyn) ridden by Nathalie Henry. The Philippe Moulin trained, Ecurie Victoria Dreams owned mare rallied decisively to score after trailing the field for much of the contest. Despite drifting wide in the stretch she won easily in 1.11.9kr for her ninth career win, increasing her lifetime earnings to 562,250 euro. Uva Forest finished second for Franck Nivard.

The Gr. III Coupe Inter-Regional for three year-olds (2700 meters, 85,000 euro purse) went to Astor du Quenne (3m Opus Viervil-Qualinka du Quenne-Extreme Dream) for Eric Raffin and trainer Sebastien Guarato. The 2/1 choice triumphed in 1.15kr for his eighth career win good for 170,190 euro earnings. Accordeon (3g Baccarat du Point-Quaba des Corvees-Dahir de Prelong) was second for Benoit Roger with the Guarato trained Adonis du Goutier (3m Coktail Jet-Quintgescencia-Defi d'Aunou) home a fast-finishing third with Dominick Locqueneux driving for Ecuries Saint-Martin.

The Coupe Inter-Regional for four year-old males (Gr. III, 2850 meters, 85,000 euro purse) produced a 1.13.4kr victory for the Matthieu Abrivard driven, 2/1 odds Viking d'Hermes (4g Sancho Panca-Norina Way-Vikings Way). The winner scored for the fifth time and now has earnings of 129,770 euro. Vabellino was second for Eric Raffin and trainer Guarato.

The Coupe Inter-Regionale for five year-olds (Gr. III, 2850 meters, 85,000 euro purse) went to the Ecurie Jean-Yves Lucuyer owned, Yannick A. Briand trained and reined Ustinof du Vivier (5g Look de Star-Melba du Vivier-Cedre du Vivier) in 1.14.7kr. The great-gaited pacesetter scored at even-money odds, his 14th career win, good for 204,860 euro earnings. Un Beau Luxor (5g Meaulnes du Corta-Nymphe Luxor-Sancho Panca) was second for Sebastien Hardy with the Franck Ouvrie steered Umango home third.

The Prix des Alpes (European, 2100 meters autostart, 75,000 euro purse) produced a close score for veteran Quick Master (9g Look de Star-Kadisha-Buvetier d'Aunou) and reinsman Pierre Vercruysse. The winner recorded his 12th career win, this time in 1.13.4kr, and increased his career bankroll to 328,340 euro. The Ronny Kuiper trainee is owned by Stall Escapade. Richmond Park (8g Jain de Beval-Iarosa Girl-Buvetier d'Aunou) was second for Dominick Locqueneux and Secret Service (7g Look de Star-Kalamita-Quito de Tahonay) took third for teamster Franck Nivard.
