April 1, 2017 - Today’s Solvalla harness racing featured Gr. II International Tritun Sunds V75 Gold (purse 250,000SEK to winner, total purse 505,500SEK, 2140 meters autostart, eight starters) went to 63.36/1 outsider Kadett C.D. (10m Scarlet Knight-Kiss of Life-Tenor de Baune) with trainer Robert Bergh aboard.

In The Zone AB owns the winner, now with a 1-1-0 slate in four 2017 starts after going winless in 16 starts last year and only hit the board once.

The winning veteran now has 25 career wins in 91 starts for 8,211,320SEK earned.

The Kadett enjoyed a pocket trip behind pacesetter El Mago Pellini (8m Chocolatier-My Intuition-Andover Hall) with Lutfi Kolgjini up and he lasted for fourth.

Nuncio (6m Andover Hall-Nicole Isabelle-Lindy Lane) was second over throughout and then was shuffled behind dead cover to be five lengths off midway in the final bend. Nuncio then, with Orjan Kihlstrom up, mounted a rally that ended over a length short.

Thai Broadway (8m Broadway Hall-Isabelle Knick-Tap In), with Bjorn Goop the trainer and pilot, followed Nuncio and almost earned the second spot.

Nuncio now has a 39-13-2 slate in 54 starts for 27,928,230SEK in career earnings.

This day Nuncio did not have his usual kick and appeared uncomfortable throughout  and perhaps off behind nearing the finish.

Fractions were well-rated (1.10.1kr at the first 500 meters, 1.12.7kr at the 1000 mark, 1.11.7kr at the 1500, the finish 1.11.5kr).

On Track Piraten faded badly, and finished sixth after recording nine straight victories, racing this day first over.
