Today’s GP Je Beteou (10th leg of the Trophee Vert series, purse 40,000€, 3100 meters distance handicap) at Royan-la Palmyre in France saw Duel du Gers (7g Quaker Jet-La Chasse Verte) scored for trainer/driver Matthieu Abrivard and owner J.M. Rancoule timed in a quick 1.15.5kr on the harness racing grass course.
This was the winner’s 14th career victory and increased his career earnings to 308,210€. The 25 meter handicapped Clark Sotho (8g Oiseau de Feux) was second for Guillaume Martin ahead of two more 25 meter penalized performers, Cap du Normont (8m Isleto de Bellouet) and Blues des Landiers (9g Phlegyas). Astor de Rozoy (10m Ready Cash) was home fifth.
The bulky Trophee Vert field race three across much of the way until late in the final bend when Duel du Gers exhibited superiority. A big crowd was on hand for the trotting action on a picture perfect day.

Eden Basque (6g Singalo-Jonga), off at 2/1 odds, took the Prix de la Baie des Anges (purse 38,000€, 2925 meters distance handicap) at Cagnes sur Mer this day.
Nicolas Ensch trains and drove the winner for Ecurie Castyagniccia to his 10th victory in 42 starts to increase his life earnings to 213,760€. Race time was 1.13.1kr. 4.6/1 Diva de Carless (7f Rockfeller Center) was second with trainer Nicolas Montagne at the lines. Third home was 9/1 Dextase Montaval with Junior Guelpa aboard.
