Evening action last night at Paris-Vincennes featured the Prix Cornelia, an 85,000e European monte test with 12 starters.

Italy's Nene'Degli Ulivi was an impressive winner in 1.12.9kr for Alexandre Abrivard. The favored veteran gelded son of Uconn Roc defeated Ursula Speed and Remember Jihim. Race summary follows:

On the undercard As Dore, a four year-old son of Coktail Jet, won the 60,000e Prix Henrietta for trainer Franck Leblanc and reinsman Dominik Locqueneux. The 12/1 outsider's win increased his career earnings to over 109,000e. Attila Berry was second for J-M Bazire with Arpent d'Ostal home third in the contest of 13 starters timed in 1.14.6kr over 2850 meters on the lighted petite piste.

The hotly contested three-year-old females only Prix Phaeo for 40,000e went to 78/1 longshot Baraka de Bellou and Mathieu Abrivard.

The three-year-old daughter of Prodigious scored in 1.15.9kr over 2850 meters on the petite track to defeat nine rivals. Black Rosa France was second for Eric Raffin with 3/5 favorite Blanche Mencourt home a fast-closing third with Joseph Verbeeck up. That one is a daughter of Ready Cash trained by Philippe Allaire.

Today's Quinte+ at Pontchateau was the 40,000e Grand Prix du Conseil General des Pays de Loire over 2800 meters. Ti Arno de Carly, a seven year-old gelded son of In Love With You secured the win over 16 rivals in 1.14.4kr. Arnaud Desmottes teamed the winner that he also trains. The victory boosted his earnings to 152,530e. The Quinte+ jackpot today was 7.35 million euros. The exact top-five payoff was 2,380e for a 2e play.
