Young pacer Dobson (Christian Cullen) set a lifetime mark on Tuesday night at Saratoga Casino and Raceway.

Kevin Verdon owns and trains the four-year-old pacer who had just one lifetime start heading into this season. After breaking his maiden a few weeks ago, Dobson recorded his fastest ever mile last week when he came from well off the pace to finish four.

On Tuesday night, reinsman Jay Randall moved Dobson to the update heading to the half mile pole and the young pacer had to endure a long first over journey before winning a photo with front running Ervin's Big Boy (Stephane Bouchard).

Longshot Kennedy Blue Chip (Gerry Mattison) finished third in the $5,000 race for colt and gelding pacers. Dobson returned $11.00 to win in his second career victory.

Live racing continues on Wednesday night at Saratoga with New York Sire Stakes action featured. First post time is set for 7:05pm.
