Twin B Shasta - Stopped the clock in 1:55.4

Twin B Shasta paced home for her third straight win Friday (May 24) in Northfield Park's eleventh race. The harness racing eight-year old is owned by Mike Kastel of Garfield Heights, Ohio.

Trainer Billy Farmer has called upon Jason Thompson to pilot the mare in her two most recent victories. Alfred Carroll drove for the initial victory of the trio of wins. Twin B Shasta was one of two winners on the card harnessed by Billy Farmer.

Twin B Shasta started from post-four and sat fourth through an opening fraction of :28.1. Thompson pulled the pacer and remained first-over through middle fractions of :57.3 and 1:26.2. Twin B Shasta took the lead approaching the stretch and drew off to win be 5 ½-lengths in front of the closest competitor, Journey West (David Lake). Twin B Shasta stopped the clock in 1:55.4.

Friday's triumph increased Twin B Shasta's (Million Dollar Cam-Stryper-Artsplace) lifetime wins tally to 35 and her career earnings to $164,498. She was the favorite and returned $4.20 to win.
