WA-bred four-year-old Money Twitch gave further proof that he is one of the State's best frontrunners when he gave a sparkling harness racing display in front to romp to victory in the 2130m Peter and Julie Reid Pace at Gloucester Park on Friday night.

Backed from 5/2 to 2/1 favouritism, Money Twitch relished his frontrunning role to win by more than seven lengths from Secret Tender (9/4), sprinting the final 800m in 55.9sec. and the last 400m in 28.3sec.

Secret Tender worked hard in the breeze and will pay to follow.

Money Twitch, by Life Sign, is trained at Forrestdale by Skye Bond and was driven with supreme confidence by Michael George. The horse is owned by his breeders Skye and Greg Bond and Ian Davie.

Bond and Davie each drove Money Twitch's dam Adayspay to victory during her splendid career of 83 starts for 19 wins, 18 placings and stakes of $134,594.

Money Twitch is poised to become a bigger earner than his dam. He has amassed $123,642. He has advanced to an M4 mark and is eligible for open-class feature events.

Palomine, making his first appearance after a spell, started from the outside barrier and was restrained to last. He did not threaten danger and just battle on into seventh place.
