I'm Won Wine Wiser and Paradise Lost lead one $16,000 Mares Winners-Over pace while three starters were winners last start in the other division to highlight the Tuesday, Jan. 31 harness racing card at Dover Downs. First post is 4:30 p.m.
George & Tina Dennis Inc.’s I’m Won Wine Wiser has continued to improve in each of her last three winning starts with George Dennis driving. Bob Winkleman’s Paradise Lost, handled by Matt Kakaley, is another female pacer to watch with two wins and two seconds in her last four outings but one of the sharpest distaff pacers at the track VC Atom N has four wins in her last seven races with Vince Copeland in the bike.
Another sharp performer is Melissa’s Fancy, driven by Victor Kirby, second last time has won three wins in her last six races. Not to be overlooked is Star Keeper, with meet leading driver Corey Callahan driving for Howard Taylor, Rojan and Lightning 5 racing. Bobby Rice’s Tryst has Ron Pierce in the sulky from post 1. The other contenders, starting from posts 7 and 8 are Kim Gadino’s Docdor Libby with Ross Wolfenden and Bob and Pat Bailey’s Odds On Riesling handled by Tony Morgan.
In the other $16,000 Mares Winners-Over pace, Love Of My Life Stable’s Madges Lil Fortune (Corey Callahan) from the rail, Bob and Elberta Murray’s Lady Ann Christine (Ron Pierce) and Bay Pond Stable’s Freedom Crossing (Ross Wolfenden) are fresh from victory last week. Jeff Clark’s Itz Cherry Ripe N (Jim Morand) has been second in her last two.
The rest of the lineup is made up by trainer-driver Vince Copeland’s Honey B Skipalong; Crazy Luv Bug (Matt Kakaley) racing for Ken Wood, Bill Dittmar and Steve Iaquinta, Fred Hertrich’s sharp Music Row (Brad Hanners) and from post 8, Howard Taylor, Jerry Silva and Tom Lazzaro’s Still Electric (Ron Pierce).
