Three races of interest for the 2010 Watpac Inter Dominion all went the way of the favourites in the United States on the weekend. Super colt Well Said easily accounted for his rivals in the $1 million Meadowlands Pace while the older stallions Mister Big and Art Official won the eliminations to the Ben Franklin at Chester.

Well Said was simply awesome in the equal-richest race in the world for three year old pacers winning comfortably by six lengths. He sailed through the mile reeling of sectionals in 26.1 26.8 26.3 before being eased towards the line in 27.1 for a time of 1.47.3.

Well Said also won the northern hemisphere’s other $1million event, the North America Cup at Mohawk, and now has lifetime earnings of $1.8million.

Owner Jeff Snyder, no stranger to racing a champion having previously being involved with Rocknroll Hanover and Cam’s Card Shark, last week stated he would love to bring his present champion Down Under for a shot at the Watpac Inter Dominion.

In the Ben Franklin Eliminations, one tenth of a second separated the first five horses in one division won by Mr Big, while it was the same time which separated Art Official and Won The West in the other division.

Mister Big prevailed over Bettor Sweet and Foiled Again in 1:49.1 with Art Official running the mile rate of 1:49.2. The top five horses in each division will race for the $1/2million Ben Franklin this weekend at Chester.
