J-Ph Ducher teamed his owned and trained Ugo du Loisir to victory in this weeks' third leg of the prestigious Grand National du Trot Paris-Turf at Saint Galmier, France.

The six-year-old son of Niky won at 7.4/1 for his 11th career success and a bankroll of £264,920. The Gr. III event carried a purse of £90,000 for this 2650 meter right-handed course that he handled in 1.13.8kr. The race was todays Quinte+ with a £7 million jackpot. The exact order payoff, excluding jackpot, was £93,705 for a £2 wager. The J-M Bazire trained Trophee de Jaba was second for reinsman Alexandre Abrivard. 17 contestants battled for supremacy in this event.

The co-featured Prix du Conseil General for £28,000 wen t to Norway invader H.M. Monocerus and teamster Damien Bonne. Geir Norbotten owns the winner and Thierry Duvaldestin trains. 18 starters were unable to match the rallying, nose-verdict winner that was timed in 1.14.6kr over 2675 meters.

The successful seven year-old mare is by Staro Showbiz from the Super News mare Taxi Genova.Tempo de Carless ended second for Franck Jamard. Italy's Osiride Grif, a six year-old son of Varenne, was third at 28/1.
