Two Gr. II trots, a fine undercard and Tropicale Night brought out large numbers of racing and entertainment fans  tonight at Paris-Vincennes.

The  Prix Chambon P, a Gr II  international event for €120,000 over the 2850 meter distance, went to the gritty Uhlan de Val and Cedric Megissier. The six year-old son of Islero de Bellouet won for the eight time and increased earnings to €815,390.

Reve de Beylev was first to the lead, then yielded to Olmo Holz and he then to first over Rapide du Digeon. Olmo Holz sat in the pocket. Severino was first up at that point and Reve de Beylev moved second in the outer. Uhlan du Val then swept three wide to the lead and was striding home to hold off a gaining and game Reve de Beylev, with Eric Raffin aboard, on the line. Time was a sharp 1.11.9kr for the distance, just over 1-3/4 miles.

Jean-Pierre Dubois’ A Nous Deux took the Gr. II Prix Lavatar for monte specialists with an impressive rallying win for jockey Mlle. Nathalie Henry and trainer Ronny Kuiper. The pair raced with cover along the inner until coming off the final bend when they made a winning move to the front.

A Nous Deux scored in 1.14.2kr over 2850 meters to defeat Anna Mix with Franck Nivard aboard. The winner is a four year-old mare by Goetmals Wood, bred by Ecurie D.

The Quinte+ race also highlighted the card and went to favored Tornado Bello with Pierre Levesque up for trainer Mike Lenders. The seven year-old son of Jag de Bellouet is from Enfilade, dame of Prix d’Amerique winner Offshore Dream.

Tornado Bello scored in 1.12.5kr over 2700 meters in the €72,000 Prix de la Soiree Tropicale, Romain Derieux teamed Ugo de Nieul to a second place finish. The Quinte+ exact order paid €64,550 for a €2 wager excluding the €3,050,000 jackpot.
