Today’s top Enghien harness racing card began with the Prix Tabac Musee de l’Air Blanc Mesnil (purse €52,000, 2875 meters, 14 European startersall three year-old fillies) and Italy domimated this event, won by 11.4/1 Unique Dream Bar (3f Goetmals Wood-Genial Power) with owner/trainer/driver Santo Mollo aboard. This 1.16.5kr timed winner bested 5/1 Una Bella Gar (3f SJ’s Photo-Georgette Gar) and 8.2/1 Unison Kronos (3f Donato Hanover-Zagabria Dei). The next five were also Italy-bred perfortmers (Ulala’Degliulivi by Gruccione Jet; Unique du Kras by Varenne; Unica Donna by Donato Hanover-Hangone that is owned by J-P Dubois, Uma d’Asti by Libeccio Grif; and Ursula Bar by Varenne)

The Q+ Prix du Roussillon (purse €48,000, 2150 meters autostart, 16 European starters) saw 6.7/1 Vanetta d’Azur(7f Lejacque d’Houlbec-Nerminetta de Line) record a 1.13.6kr victory for trainer/driver Arnaud Desmottes. 86/1 Jaguar Broline was second for Dominik Locqueneux and 8/1 Perfect Power (7g Ken Warkentin-Ewnjoy My Face) ended third for Christophe Martens.

The featured Prix de Washington (purse €120,000, 1609 meters, Gr. II, 10 starters) went to 1.09.9kr timed, 2.7/1 odds Un Mec d’Heripre (8m Orlando Vici-I Love You Darlimg). J-M Bazire teamed the Fabrice Souloy trainee that is owned by Ecurie d’Heripre. 9/10 favorite Robert Bi (6m Toss Out-Up Front JM) was next for Robbin Bakker, trainer Paul Hagoort and owner K.K. Bjikerk of Holland. 6.9/1 Aladin d’Ecajeul (6m Quaker Jet-Nancy d’Ecajeul) was third for Eric Raffin, trainer Sebastien Guarato and the owner Philippe Dewulf. Univers de Pan and Pascia’Lest were fourth and fifth for respective reinsman Philippe Daugeard and Pietro Gubellini.

Diamond (6g Classic Photo-Gala dei Bessi) was an upset winner at 19/1 of the Prix la Grand Paris (purse €55,000, 2150 meters autostart, 16 European starters) today for Matthieu Abrivard, trainer Paul Hagoort and Ecurie Mille Fleurs of Holland. 2.3/1 Archangel AM (6g Going Kronos-No More Time) held second for Pierre Vercruysse, trainer Lutfi Kolgjini and Stall Behall AB. Third was 14.1/1 Black Atout (5m Prodigious-La Lagune) for Alexandre Abrivard and trainer Franck Leblanc. Race time was 1.12kr.
