The Hugo Abergs card at Jagersro was more than that classic on this fine Jagersro evening, The Breeders Course Three Year Old Final (550,000SEK to winner, 1609 meters autostart) went to game front-ending Unica Gio (3f Donato Hanover-Ilaria Jet-Pine Chip) for Ulf Ohlsson at 72/1 odds. This 1.12.6kr timed winner is trained by Reijo Liljendahl for Courant AB and was bred in Italy by Bivans SRL. The 4/5 favoriteUnicrono SLM (3m Love You-CL Brightness-King Conch) was second for Bjorn Goop and trainer Wim Paal for Italian owner Graziani Ceccaroni. Third was 47/1 Urbanio (3m Adrian Chip-Oghelia Blue Chip-Yankee 
Glide) with Rick Ebbinge at the lines for JFM Westgeest of Holland. The top three were all bred in Italy. Winning Unica Gio led from the start using rated fractions for victory (1.11.1kr at 500 meters, 1.13.9kr at the 1000 mark).
 
The program also showcased the 2016 Malmo Stayer Prize (250,000SEK to the winner, 3140 meters distance handicap) and the 40 meter penalized Reckless (6m Ready Cash-Haver- Supergill) scored at 6.3/1 for trainer/driver Bjorn Goop. 29/1 Thunder Peak (6m Quatre Juillet-Nikala- Prince Mystic) took second, overcoming a 20 meter handicap, for Thomas Uhrberg and trainer Steen Juul. Third went to another 40 meter handicapped and 1.8/1 favorite Alfas da Vinci (6g Orlando Vici-Hillary Clinton-And Arifant) with trainer Joakim Lovgren the pilot. Time for the winner was 1.13.2kr for the marathon distance.
 
Mares battled in the Final Summer Mares Meeting (200,000SEK to winner, 1609 meters autostart, six starters) and D’One (6f Donato Hanover-Giant Diablo-Supergill) scored in 1.11.1kr for Orjan Kihlstom and Roger Walmann, the trainer for Stall Kennys. This was her second 2016 start after a sixth place finish on July 3 rd . Roses Glory (5f Yankee Glide-Spring Gala-Self Possessed) was second for trainer Veijo Heiskanen and third went to Wild Honey (4f Cantab Hall-U Wanna Lindy-SJ’s Photo) for Johnny Takter/Daniel Reden/Stall Zet. Radysin America (6f Donato Hanover-Zagabria Dei-Victory Dream) took the fourth check for Christoffer Eriksson and trainer Jerry Riordan. D’One was off the 1.92/1 favorite and now has earned 8,666,379SEK for the career. Trainer Riordan was earlier in the winner’s circle with Tango Negro (4m Infinitf-Lisetta Real-Lemon Dra) in the Prix Cagbes-sur- Mer 2016 for four year-olds. Bjorn Goop teamed the 3.2/1 odds winner that was timed in a good 1.11.1kr over the 1609 meters autostart course to earn the 200,000SEK winners share of the purse. The Graziano Ceccaroni Italian owned and bred colt earned his second 2016 victory in six tries and now has 1,801,037SEK in career earnings. Breidabliks Nubbe (4m Lindy Lane-Wildgirl Boshoeve-Starchip Entrprise) was second for trainer/driver Conrad Lugauer ahead of Suit And Tie (4m Andover hall-Warrawee Krisp-Yankee Glide) with Erik Adielsson up for Marcus Lindgren.
