Uno de Montauran took today's Quinte+ feature at Beaumont de Lomagne in France, scoring for the seventh time in his career in this 2550 meter Grand Prix Baron d'Ardevil.

Denis Brossard drove the winner, timed in 1.15.3kr over the programmed distance, for trainer Yves Vidal. Maldini OK was second for Dominik Locqueneux, as the Italian invader faced a 25 meter handicap. 18 starters battled in the contest.

The co-featured Grand Prix Maisaqri Duran-Dynavana for £45,000 went to Ugodu Loisir handled by trainer/driver Jean-Philippe Ducher. The 9/10 favorite recorded his 10th career victory, now for earnings of £224,420. The son of Niky defeated Urzy and Eric Audebart. Urzy is a six year-old son of Kaisy Dream that stood one season in North America, producing Breeders Crown winner Brigham Dream.

On March 18 night racing returned to Paris-Vincennes. The featured was the Prix Bernard Simonard, a monte test for apprentice jockeys, worth £72,000. Ten starters contested the 2850 meter distance with some of the rivals handicapped 25 meters based on career earnings.

Soleil d'Enfer traveled 2875 meters to score his 12th career win, this one by disqualification. Handled by Marion Lemonnier, the winner increased his career earnings to £411,300. The 1.9/1 favorite is trained by Gilles Delacour. Uppercut du Houlet was a placed second for jockey Mathieu Daougabel in this race, with the winner timed in 1.14.6kr.
