The harness racing owners of Up The Credit, p2,1:51.4s; p3,1:49s ($1,137,292) have decided and are pleased to announce that -- as well as standing stud at Seelster Farms -- Up The Credit will continue to be trained and the plan is to race him as a 4-year-old.

Winner of the C$1.5 Million North America Cup, Up The Credit's other sophomore victories include the $117,644 Simcoe Stakes, $102,000 Somebeachsomewhere Stakes, $100,000 Meadowlands Pace Consolation, $82,400 Diplomat Pacing Series Final and a North America Cup Elimination.

From just five starts at age two, Up The Credit paced to a record of 1:51.4s in just his second lifetime start, winning the first leg of the Dream Maker Series. He also recorded a win in the New York Sire Stakes at Buffalo.

Up The Credit is a son of leading pacing sire Western Terror and the prolific Pacific Rocket mare Cantbuymehappiness, and thus a half-sister to the O'Brien Award winner Precious Delight p, 2, 1:53.3f; 3, 1:51.1 ($1,096,981). His second dam is the half-sister to the great Staying Together p, 3, 1:52.4f; 4, 1:48.2 ($1,692,832).

Up The Credit will be conditioned by St. Mary's, Ontario trainer Mark Horner and will be available for inspection by appointment at Horner Stables during the season. Up The Credit will maintain the customary collection schedule, as do all the Seelster Stallions, beginning on Feb. 13, 2012.

Up The Credit will stand for an introductory fee of C$5,000. Multiple mare and loyalty discounts may apply.
