VALLEY VICTOR TO STAND AT PENINSULA FARM

Valley Victor, a trotting stallion that has accomplished wonders in Illinois, will stand the 2006 breeding season at Peninsula Farm in Kentucky under the management of Carter Duer.

The 12-Year-Old son of Valley Victory will stand for a fee of $6000.

Valley Victor's first two crops ((1998 and 1999) contained a total of 39 foals,but 32 if them raced and 10 got 2.00 trotting marks. His first crop performed as 3-Year-Olds in 2001 and his book went from 35 mares that year to 137 mares in 2002. He served a book of 117 mares this season.

Among trotting stallions, he currently ranks fifth in overall earnings of his 2005 2-Year-Olds. Collectively they have earned $842,137, headed by Victor's Finesse 2, 1.55.4 ($204,805).

As a yearling, Valley Victor sold for $105,000 at the Kentucky Standarbred Sale, but he did not race. He is out of the Power Seat mare Divine Power.
