The Prix Appolonia for £50,000 went to Vanetta d'Azur for J-M Bazire. This five year-old daughter of Lejacques d'Houilbec scored in 1.13.9kr over 2100 meters autostart. She dispatched 12 rivals for trainer Patrice Lebouteiller to hike her earnings to £99,220.

Tomorrow is leg #2 of the Grand National du Trot. The Gr. III £90,000 event over 3000 meters takes place at Marseille-Borely and it's the day's Quinte+ race with a £6.3 million jackpot.
