Terang trained horses finished 1-2-3 in yesterdays Goodtime Lodge Mount Gambier Oaks at the harness racing meeting at Mount Gambier.

The Marg Lee trained winner Keayang Ebonyrose (Village Jolt/Secret Twirl), who won by 19.3 metres in 2:01.4 for reinsman Glen Craven, while the Matthew Craven-trained duo Bellas Jet and Ameares finished second and third respectively.

Bellas Jet initially led but galloped wildly early, allowing Keayang Ebonyrose to push through to the front.

Matthew Craven, driving Bellas Jet, was able to get his filly to settle back into her gait and she sat second for the remainder of the race, holding out stablemate Ameares (Chris Svanosio in the sulky) at the finish.

The winner rated 2:01.4.

It was a good day for the Vics at the South Australian meeting, Showem Shifty (Life Sign/Capreolate) winning the first heat of the Easter Egg Pace for Hamilton's Jim and Jackie Barker.

Heywood’s Rebecca East combined with Matthew Craven to win the second race with talented Jeremes Jet/Summer Fairytale colt Hez The One.

And south-western reinsman Caleb Lewis drove Dreamsndesires to victory in the last race for Scotts Creek trainer Anthony O’Connor over Tarrington trained Vegas Prince with Hamilton pacer Shalamint third.
