The five-year old son of Oiseau des Feux scored, in 1.13.9kr over 2700 meters, his sixth career win, now for earnings of 309,590e. Dubois trains the winner that defeated thetrained and driven Village Mystic, a fine stallion that was second choice in the wagering, and looked like a winner after he surged to the front at top-stretch. Viking de Val and notorious pacesetter Vanika du Ruel ended third and fourth respectively.
Rarely do we see, in an age of specialization, a graded event in which the top four finishers were driven by their trainers. Congrats to Dubois, Baudron, Eric Lambertz andfor excellent horsemanship.
