Jean-Etienne Dubois reined 21/1 outsider Villeroi to victory in today's Gr. II 120,000e Prix Ovide Moulinet at Paris-Vincennes.

The five-year old son of Oiseau des Feux scored, in 1.13.9kr over 2700 meters, his sixth career win, now for earnings of 309,590e. Dubois trains the winner that defeated the Louis Baudron trained and driven Village Mystic, a fine Love You stallion that was second choice in the wagering, and looked like a winner after he surged to the front at top-stretch. Viking de Val and notorious pacesetter Vanika du Ruel ended third and fourth respectively.

Rarely do we see, in an age of specialization, a graded event in which the top four finishers were driven by their trainers. Congrats to Dubois, Baudron, Eric Lambertz and Franck Anne for excellent horsemanship.
