The Thierry Duvaldestin driven and trained Vive Daidou (4f Ouragan de Celland-Orange Douce) took Thursday's Gr. II Prix Guy Le Gonidec over 2700 meters for 120,000 euro purse, holding off serious challengers in deep stretch.
The race winner scored at 9/1 odds and traveled the course in 1.14.4kr for owner Ecurie Daidou to increase her earnings to over 300,000 euro.
Valse Darling (4f Prodigious-Fly Darling) was a close second for Julien Dubois and Ecurie Victoria Dreams. Victoire (4f Kitko-Juventa Blue) finished third with the Jean-Pierre Dubois owned and driven Viva Island (4f Goetmals Wood-Island Dream) a hard charging fourth.
All of the top four finishers sport earnings in excess of 215,000 euros.
