Well no one else had a clue either about Norwegian racing -no one picked the V75 which jackpots this week.

Local horses won three of the seven races and Danish trainers picked up two. Stormsky, Solo Nolo and More Than Enough ticked our boxes but our bankers were from Wall Street and ran off with our money.

If we had managed to guess that Pericle Bi or Foynland Image at odds of more than 45/1 would win we would have got $264.80 back and six winners got a massive $8949.20. But this week it is finals week at the biggest track in Sweden, Solvalla. We get a chance to do it all again.

V75-1 Fristads Kansas (Klass I) Final. In a field of good in form horses, this looks to be between BBS Sugarlight (3) and Frozen (4) who is unbeaten for new Danish trainer Peter Jensen. Both have had three wins in a row this year and have drawn well. BBS Sugarlight has his usual partner, the in form Peter Untersteiner while the brilliant Johny Takter jumps on board Frozen for the final. Look the two to couple up. 2140m: Selection 3 (4)

V75-2 Bronze division final Sahara Fairytale (4) has won a Klass 1 V75 final before and is looking to add a Bronze title to her resume. From the super Lutfi Kolgjini barn and has the speed to get to the front where "Ludde" likes to drive them. There are some tough performers in this who will make it tough for her like Rooibos (1) and Queasy (8), but we have to find a banker somewhere and Kolgjini has made enough money in this game to be one in real life. 2140m: Selection 4

V75-3 Olympiatravet qualifier (GrII) UET (Gold final) Now we're talking. The big guns are starting to get to the races as Spring breaks in Sweden. It is a great field for the Olympiatravet qualifier with the likes of the inform conqueror of the French, Sanity (3), who ran a surprising second to old warhorse Harry Haythrow (5) last start. Throw in former age-group stars who look like being real topliners Raja Mirchi (2) and Dreams Take Time (8), and there are four to put in the mix. 2140m: Selection 3-5-2-8

V75-4 V75-Klass II, final 2140m: Archangel Am (6) is a horse on the rise. A son of boomSwedish sire Going Kronos from the stable of Lutfi Kolgjini, has been super impressive in his last three wins and looks one headed for the higher ranks quickly. Drawn well, should get to the front and Kolgjini, a master at judging the pace, will do the rest. A banker for mine. Selection 6

V75-5 Diamantstoet final 2140m: Valkyria ROK (4) won impressively last week, leading from the front in the hands of Erik Adielsen, who will drive her again. Drawn to get a good chance to do the same again, she should win this. She will face competition for the front running role form Vacation Silvio (6) so she should be kept safe as an alternate just in case Thomas Uhrberg can get his regular drive across from the gate. Selection 4 (6)

V75-6 Pixies lopp Elite mares1640m: With this week's retirement of Tamla Celeber, the elite division is missing a superstar, although the great daughter of Cantab Hall just as often took and beat the big boys as her own gender. Canaka BF (10) has five wins in six starts, with a sixth two starts back at Aby. Beatasine (3) is in great form with three wins in a rown while Muscles Yankee mare Dileva Kall (8) is a very good performer also and coming off a win last start. It is outsider time, and I'm going to throw in an old favourite, who is from Finland originally, is by the greatest stallion in Europe (Love You) and has one of my favourite drivers on board, in Johnny Takter. And she named after a favourite Beatles song of mine when I was a youngster. The stars line up for She Loves You (7). Selection 10-3-8-7

V75-7 Silver division final 2140m: We've been following Chapeau (10) for a while, and he will be in the mix here along with the consistent Claes Boko (3) and Lutfi Kolgjini's Orione Spin (1). I'm going to throw in two outsiders for our five selection race with the two most competive drivers in Sweden drawing good positions for their charges. Gigant Slugger (4) has Johnny Takter in the bike while Utlity Bus (5) has Bjorn Goop as a passenger. These guys are great at getting in longshots so lets hope they can do the same for us. Selection 10-3-1-4-5

TOTAL COMBINATIONS 60 - Cost $5, +1 alternate $10, + 2 alternate $20

Also here are my win wagers from Solvalla.
