October 22, 2016 – Kincsem Park’s superb Saturday program included three harness racing events with purse of 1.5Huf million or more.
The Koztarsagagi DIJ (purse 2Huf million, 2400 meters) went to 1.15.5kr timed Romi Mms (6f Turbo Sund-Goldy LB-Self Possessed). The three time winner in her last four starts was reined by Mitja Slavic and trained by Marko Slavic. Recent SWE import Underpaid Hanover (7m Revenue-Up Front Lisa-Lindy Lane) was second for driver Imre Fazekas and trainer Jozsef Rutkai for Prolongo Stable.
He had posted 18 wins in 78 starts for earnings over 61Huf million, before arriving in HU, where in recent starts he competed against Tobin Kronos, On Track Piraten, Magic Tonight and Food Money.
Amazing Koks (9g Jailhouse Joey-Data Star Index-Ata Star L) was third for trainer/driver Lajos Marton
Two year-olds contested the Katavesek Nagydija (purse 2Huf million, 1800 meters autostart) with victory to Walking John M (2m Cigar Dan-Dream Broline-Alf Palema) reined and trained by Branislav Mukity of Serbia. Timed in 1.20.3kr the winner bested Vulcano Boy (2m Tony Oaks-Oracle-Lindy Lane) with Tibor Hajnal the driver/trainer. Third went to VAQU EM Q (2m Beissinger Hanover-IQMQ-Valley Guardian) for trainer/driver Emil Csordas.
The 1.5Huf million purse Oszi Kanca DIJ was next, raced over 1960 meters and distance handicapped. The 1.19.3kr timed victory went to Urania RG (3f Racino-Sweet Pine-Pine Chip). The filly now has three wins in her last five starts for driver Mitja Slavic and trainer Balazs Juhasz. Unreal Boss (3f Maximus Lindy-Light Lady-Baltic Bet) was second for trainer/driver Velska Mazsity and Uzsorasno (3f Maximus Lindy-Hitelezo-Witsends Speedy) landed the third spot.
Veteran fast class performers took part in the Samson DIJ (purse 600,000Huf, 1800 meters autostart). Sanger MS (6g Victory Scream-Samba MS-Armbro Goal) scored again (five wins in last six) timed in 1.16.3kr for driver Mitja Slavic and trainer Balazs Juhasz. Time To Say Goodbye (4m Maximus Lindy-Jungfrau-Valley Guardian) placed for driver Imre Fazekas and trainer Lajor Marton, ahead of Speedy Boy (5g Wall Street Banker-Vas Lady-Endless Sands).
The undercard this day produced some solid winners too. Trencsen (4m Aata Star L-Epenjes-Witsends Speedy) won the Omnia DIJ (purse 400,000HUf, 1800 meters distance handicap) with trainer Sandor Varga driving. Szilwas (5m Medic Hanover) was second and third went to Sllver Lady (5f Wall Street Banker).
The 360,000Huf Cremonia DIJ, raced over 1900 meters autostart, went to the Sandor Varga trained and driven Astrix EVO (4m Broadway Hall-Rompaway Quincy-Tabor Lobell). This young mare is a perfect six wins in six starts in 2016, this victory clocked in 1.17.7kr. Euklid AT (3m Even Better Odds-Echalote-Credit Winner) was second for Tibor Hajnal, and third was Unique Boy ((3m Racino-Oracle Lindy Lane) with Laszo Orso at the lines.
The Matroz Handicap (purse 360,000Huf, 1900 meters autostart) early in the program went to Redwood Vita (m Ata Star L-Corsa de Gloria-Indro Park) for trainer/driver Tibor Hajnal. Timed in 1.19.3kr this winner bested Opal Lany (8f Happy Bluejay-Batolakodo-Yankee Yankee) with Arpad Lakatos up, and third was Bebops Cassandra (6f Bebop-Topaz Remington-Rosalinds Guy) teamed by Jozsek Karai for trainer Csaba Lakatos.
