Canterbury trainer/driver Mark Jones is set to step in the boxing ring again.
Jones will be in action this Friday against Guy McMenamin in the “Corporate Chaos” at the Hornby Workingmen’s Club.
While in the ring, Delightful Memphis and Real Torque will represent Jones in both ends of NZ. Delightful Memphis will start in the Magness Benrow Sire Stakes Fillies Championship while Real Torque will line up in a heat of the Nevele R Fillies Series.

As expected Trainer Cran Dalgety and connections have decided to set their eyes on the Len Smith Mile at Menangle (Sydney) on the 26th June.
While the Brisbane Carnival is also on the radar depending on how he comes through his Sydney campaign.

Effective for the new racing season, commencing August 1st 2016;
*Minimum programmed stakes for races will be increased from $5,000 to $6,000.
*Clubs will be required to apply a stakes distribution model that guarantees a minimum of 2% of every programmed stake will be paid to all starters.
*In addition, a Stakes Supplement Payment of $50 will be paid to all runners placed outside of the first four, in races with programmed stakes of less then $20,000.
