This weekend we are straying from the norm and handicapping all the elimination races at Pocono Downs. They are some great races and, of course, next week’s finals will be superb for sure.

Yes, on Friday is the $50,000 TVG Trot at the Meadowlands, but I feel its Sebastian K all the way even after being off for so long.

But the action will be fast and furious at Pocono Downs Saturday night. Good Luck!

$25,000 Trot Earl Beal Memorial 3YO Colt Elims

3rd race – Last week was a close call for Nuncio and he gets the call again in here again, but the margin could be a neck too as Datsyuk has been razor sharp this season. Use Datsyuk and Don Dorado in exotic plays.

$20,000 Pace James Lynch Memorial 3YO Fillies Elims

4th race – If not for starting from the outside in post eight, Act Now would be a shoo-in against this field. She has won her last two starts impressively and has shown she can handle an outside post and has great closing speed. Use Weeper and Gallie Bythe Beach in exotic plays.

$25,000 Trot Earl Beal Memorial 3YO Colt Elims

5th race – Some say they were toying with the field last week, but Father Patrick just held on at the wire for a neck victory. Favorite for the Hambo needs to not cut it so close this week as the competition continues to improve. Father Patrick is unbeaten this year in three starts and should take another. Use Harper Blue Chip and Sumatra in exotic plays.

$20,000 Pace James Lynch Memorial 3YO Fillies Elims

6th race – Was no easy task picking a winner in here as field is very competitive. I am going with Allstar Rating as she draws the rail, has shown she can win from off the pace and has been close to the action every week. Use Beach Body and Fancy Desire in exotic plays.

$25,000 Pace Max Hempt Memorial 3YO Colt Elims

7th race – Despite costly break last week in NA Cup at Mohawk, Always B Miki should be able to rebound in here from good post position. Has tons of speed and ability, rested and once on the lead will not be caught. Use Limelight Beach and Bondi Hanover in exotic plays.

$20,000 Pace James Lynch Memorial 3YO Fillies Elims

8th race - No can deny that Uffizi Hanover is now the queen of the 3YO pacing fillies after her easy victory in the Fan Hanover final last week. She has seemed to regain her winning form from last year and two starts back she showed she can win from and outside post too with an amazing :25.1 last quarter mile. Use Tyra and Also Encouraging in exotic plays.

$25,000 Pace Max Hempt Memorial 3YO Colt Elims

9th race – Looks to me that All Bets Off is the horse to beat with four wins and a second in his five starts this year and on all size tracks. This $7,000 yearling purchase has now won $387,000 lifetime and is headed to victory lane once again. Use Cammikey and Western Vintage in exotic plays.

$25,000 Pace Ben Franklin FFA Elims

10th race – This race could be as good as the final next week. I have to come back with Captaintreacherous after his super strong effort last week in 1:49.2 in his 2014 debut. Pacer of the Year last two seasons may not lose a single race this year. Use Foiled Again and Sunshine Beach in exotic plays.

$25,000 Pace Max Hempt Memorial 3YO Colt Elims

11th race – It was a toss-up between Bushwacker and McWicked and I am going with Bushwacker. He has been racing over this oval last two starts winning from both on and off the pace and has touted as the real thing. We will find out as McWicked is also a top competitor. Use McWicked and Somestarsomewhere in exotic plays.

$25,000 Pace Ben Franklin FFA Elims

12th race – Even with a couple of weeks off, Sweet Lou has really come back to form this year with three straight wins against the best pacers around and will take another in here. Use Bolt The Duer and Clear Vision in exotic plays.
