A technical glitch prevented our picks from being published last week. This week’s V75 is at Halmstad and are the qualifying races for the finals in a fortnight.

V75-1 Silver division 2140m: Nothing But Class (1) is poised to pick up his first win for Peter Untersteiner after transferring from Ake Svanstedt’s barn. His main competition could come from last time winner Wiss Rambo (9) who has a bad draw. For an outsider Main Kronos (8) could be the dark horse.  Selection 1

V75-2 Klass I 2640m: Always a tough division to select, and we are going wide here with Yield to None (2), Lovelorn (10), Hertig Shim (5) and UPW Sund (4) . Selection 2-5-4-10

V75-3 Gold division 2140m: Johnny Johansson’s Harry Haythrow (7) has been super consistent this year in V75. It is a strong field with many chances but we need to have anchors somewhere.  Selection 7

V75-4 Klass II 1640m: Wingait Ida (1) Denco’s Neelakilab (2) and Kebab (4) are the picks in another tough leg. Selection 1-2-4

V75-5 3YO fillies 2140m: Glamour Haleryd (4) has won two on end and from this draw can make it three. Selections 4

V75-6 Bronze Division 2640m: Lutfi Kolgjiini’s October Kronos (2) is perfectly drawn to give ‘Ludde’ an easy route to the front where he likes to dominate races and with this horse’s gate speed, he is primed to do so.  Selection 2

V75-7 Elite Mares 2640m: The elite mares race is a tough one with globe trotting superstar Tamla Celeber (7) having her first start since July. But Miss Sue V (2) in particular, and the likes of Gisela As (3), True Advantage (4) and Finnish star She Loves You (12), are all capable of winning here.  So I’ve gone wide in the last and I’ve gone for an outsider (12) as my winning pick.  Selection 7-2-3-4-12

TOTAL COMBINATIONS 60 – Cost $5
